It was my pleasure to work with Soma Jurgensen during a strategic planning session that we launched in 2013. From 2010 to 2012, our organization saw substantial growth. As I’m getting ready for another networking event, I look over on my wall at Soma’s 5 Tips to Network with Confidence. It’s been three months since my training session with Soma, and I still have her tips up on my wall. Soma Datta’s book, “Fearless Follow-up” stands apart, because she goes beyond merely finding leads and takes you down the path to conversion. I expected the book to be something of a thought exercise, but it’s much more practical than that, which both surprised me and pleased me. Don’t relegate this book to the shelf. It belongs on your desk, open, where you can see it every day, scribble in it, and let it prompt you to take action and follow-up fearlessly.
